We are a team of therapists in the Philippines conducting classes for differently-abled kids. The main purpose for creating this blog is for us to reach out to the parents of students enrolled in our classes — to keep them updated regarding our activities in class and to provide them with relevant information and tips in handling specific issues they might experience along the way.
We believe that the improvement of our children does not solely depend upon just one person, one group or one service. As Lemony Snicket quoted in one of his novels, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Thus, we believe that it is through the co-operative efforts of parents, caregivers, families, professionals and friends (yes, even neighbors!) that children are more able to figure out and enhance their talents and capabilities.
It is our hope that this site would help other parents, families and professionals as well. As we strive to learn more ways to help our kids, we would like to encourage everyone to openly share information as well through dropping comments on our posts. Please understand that some posts (especially our session notes) are password protected. These can only be viewed by parents of students enrolled to that particular class.
For requests or specific concerns that you prefer not to share publicly or to inquire about our services, please do not hesitate to contact us through our e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Check back often! 😀
